story events in this AU

Songs of Disarray is a mix of both the Candy/POPGOES timeline, with a bit of lore from FNAF 1/2/3/4.Things to keep in mind;
- Simon Fitzgerald is the Purple Guy (or The Purple Man), NOT William Afton
- Chica's Party World and Circus Baby's Pizza World do not exist
- Edwin Murray and the Mimic do not exist
- Remnant and Agony are supernatural-like elements in this universe, NOT science-fiction
- When the time comes to actually make content of the story, mentions of Komi's true identity as the Master of the Void will be absent/only briefly shown or alluded to in possible Komi flashbacks scenes

EARLY 1900s
Glenn Eriksen is born.
Vincent Pietro Allard is born.
Anthony “Toni” Russo is born.
Richard “Richie” Kennedy is born.
Vincent and Glenn meet in college.
Vincent creates Vinnie for a puppeteering course.
Glenn meets Sharon, and they start dating.
Someone in Glenn and Vincent’s “Romeo and Juliet” production dies during a rehearsal; Vincent watches as a stage light falls and crushes them to death. As their understudy, Vincent is then recast in their place.
Glenn and Sharon get married.
Chandler “Chancy” Eriksen is born.
Harry Schmidt gets married.
Mary Schmidt is born.
Mike Schmidt is born; Mary’s mother dies, leaves her with the Origami Cat they made together.
Vincent and Glenn begin to draft the idea of the theater, and start putting it together.
Glenn and Sharon divorce.
Two previously hired Rat and Cat actors quit due to arguments with Vincent; Toni and Richie are cast instead.
Komi enters the Candy/Popgoes universe, mistaking for the 'original' Aftonverse.1960

Komi and Vincent start dating (after four months, but it's a slow start).

Toni arrives to work drunk.
The Incident; Vincent accidentally kills a drunk Rat Actor/Toni, and then strangles Richie/Cat Actor; lies to the police about what happened; Mary witnessed the whole thing after hiding in the closet, playing Hide-n-Seek w/ the Rat; Vinnie also witnesses the whole thing (blood on shoe).
After Oct 13th
Detective Hoffman investigates the Theater.
Mary starts having nightmares; the trauma does more damage on her, thus her brain fragments to protect itself/Mary.
Harry (Mary’s dad) creates cassette tape tracks to help his daughter with her nightmares.
Theater officially closes.
Vincent quits, signs rights over to Glenn completely.
Vincent starts having nightmares about the incident, thus he hides Vinnie and his Puppeteer costume away in his bedroom closet, telling Komi (who'd moved in with him at his request) to never open it.
Vincent auditions for and gets role of “Norm Bateman” in PSYCHOPATH.
Dec 24
Komi's Birthday; Vincent gets her a pet kitten that they name Veronica (the name they'd give their daughter if Vincent ever wanted to have kids).1962

PSYCHOPATH releases, it's a box office hit.
Nov ???
Rowboatics Corp Factory located at St Antonia’s Road 27 finishes construction and begins operation;
The Rat and Cat costumes are repurposed into wire controlled puppets; thus they become haunted by the Remnant the dead actors left behind.
Nov 19th
Glenn fires Komi; The Rat & Cat Theater reopens for business
RAT Incident; RAT wired controlled animatronic/puppet attacks Mary’s little brother; RAT has Toni’s Remnant/Agony attached to the suit, same as CAT with Richie.
Dec 3
Mary begins having nightmares again, starts going back to therapy; Protective alter called "Naomi" communicates with Mary in the form of the Origami Cat and tries to guide her against the nightmares; Another alter called "Danny" communicates with Mary in the form of Vinnie's head; but the real Monster Vinnie (along with the Monster Rat and Cat) that Mary sees is just a nightmare, a manifestation her mind created to represent the incident itself.
FNAC 3 gameplay events for the next few days.
Dec 7
Mary confesses what happened to her therapist (and gives details about everything); therapist then asks his assistant (Ms Sherwood) to contact whoever originally handled the case (Hoffman).1963
Feb
Hoffman and the rest of the police look over Mary's statement and reopen the case.
March
Vincent is arrested at home.
Mary improves in therapy, stops seeing therapist.
July
Pre-trial begins.1964
Sept
Trial concludes; Vincent is charged with involuntary manslaughter, second-degree murder, and obstruction of justice; Mary is put on the stand to give her statement, as Vincent glares at her the whole time; Glenn testifies against Vincent, bringing up the incident from college as evidence for a history of this kind of behavior; Vincent is then sentenced with life in prison without parole.
Old Candy and Blank are at the factory, perhaps they've just been finished?

RAT animatronic awakes again.
CTC Entertainment is formed; Candy’s Burgers and Fries is founded/opens for the first time.1965
Old Candy follows Shadow Candy (apparently the Cat Actor’s spirit) to a mechanic, who tazzes Old Candy.1968
Twin brothers Jeremy and Simon Fitzgerald are born.1970s
Fredbear's Family Diner opens; The springlock technology of Fredbear and Bonnie are introduced to the world.(note to self and all: have been playing with the idea of william/henry intentionally taking the idea of vinnie, as one of them visited the theater and was impressed by the puppet. vincent would hate this.)1976
In Candy's Bugers and Fries; Blanks roams the restaurant, finds children’s drawings, and finds one of Shadow Candy.1979
Jeremy breaks into Fredbears (is this still canon?) and is traumatized after accidently "killing" his favorite character, JJ.1983
Evan Afton is tragically killed by the Fredbear in animatronic mode; the boy's crying caused the springlocks to shut down, crushing the boy's skull; this was an accident after his older brother, Michael Afton and his friends, only attempted to play a (cruel) prank on the birthday boy.
Fredbear's Family Diner shuts down.1984
Fazbear Entertainment rebrands and opens up a chain of four different Freddy Fazbear's Pizza locations across Utah.
Aug 15
After getting into a fight with another prison mate, Vincent is accidently killed in a nearly identical fashion to Toni's death long ago.
The very moment his heart stops beating, the abandoned Vinnie puppet springs to life and begins sobbing, leading to his discovery by Komi.
Full of grief and loneliness, Komi begins to work on a new body to help the entity inside the puppet start a new life.1985
Mary visits Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza in the next town over (Hurricane); sees Marionette and instantly recalls the repressed memories from nearly 20 years ago; Thus, the once dormant “Vinnie” alter is triggered back out.1986
Komi completes the body, thus bringing "life" to her monster, who names himself "Victor.”1987
Aug 15
After a week of being tormented by her own monster, Komi breaks out of Vincent's house and runs to the Rowboatic's Corp factory; She successfully lures Vivian and the Vinnie puppet there, and then uses them as bait for the haunted RAT and CAT animatronics (who recognize Vivian due to him literally wearing Vincent’s face) so she can escape her creation for good.
Sept 22
Wanting to confront the past head-on, Mary's alter "Vinnie" takes control and gets them a job as a security guard for the Rowboatics Corp factory.
1:57 AM - They find an old tape of Old Candy and Blank from 1964; perhaps they’ve just been built…
Sept 23
RAT destroys the cameras in the factory and orders CAT to capture the two kids that broke into the factory and bring them onto the conveyor belt; During this, Mary passed out due to the exhaustion of "Vinnie" repeatedly switching out with her.
Sept 24
There’s now a crime scene investigation on the conveyor belt (Hoffman has been replaced at this point but he is conducting a solo investigation on the factory now).
"Vinnie"/Mary freak out when seeing the camera footage of this.
Sept 25
New Candy and Cindy models are made.
1:57 AM - Mary/"Vinnie" see that they are possessed by the two kids.
Oct
Old Candy attacks a father who'd been abusing his child; Shadow Candy had lead Old Candy to them.
Old Candy is thus shut down and fully replaced with the new ones.
Nov 13
Jeremy Fitzgerald, during his first day working the dayshift, is attacked by the Toy Bonnie animatronic; This event is dubbed "The Bite of 87"; Freddy Fazbear's Pizza then shuts down.
Chandler (who was workings at Candy's as the night guard) tells Joey (phone guy/junior manager) that he wants to show him something, to which Joey declines (thinking of him as a "superstitious moron").
Chandler brings a wrench to his shift and attacks the Blank animatronic, then leaves.

Marylin Schmidt and Bonnie Glade meet on an online and become long distance friends.
Fritz Glade (formerly Jeremy Fitzgerald) opens the Popgoes Pizzeria.
Bonnie Glade orchestrates her own murder by triggering her father's PTSD (she puts on a Toy Bonnie mask).
Bonnie haunts an arcade cabinet in the pizzeria.

POPGOES Events
POPGOES events go somewhere... yeah... Playing around with the idea of multiple key characters witnessing the Bite of '87 that happens between Toy Bonnie and Jeremy Fitzgerald. That being a universal event that is the CORE of this universe (along with the Missing Children Incident). Will sorta-mainly be using the POPGOES reboot universe's "ghost rules" (heh) so keep that in mind.Afton Family Events
First, this is how the Aftons will work; William has two sons, Evan and Michael. Since Simon Fitzgerald is the "Purple Man" in the Candy/Popgoes universe, William isn't a murderer. He's still a terrible father and a shady businessman, though. Ignore the Purple Guy cameo in FNAF 4 altogether.
The FNAF 4 protagonist would be Michael Afton having Agony-induced nightmares (NOT ILLUSION DISKS OR FEAR GAS OR WHATEVER) similar to the ones that Komi faces with VivianThe Puppeteer's Fate
He keeps the puppet hidden in a closet, where he'll hide when he's having nightmares/hallucinations about what he did.
The night of Vincent’s death (he is accidentally killed by a prison mate in the same manner he killed Toni); Vinnie springs to life the very second Vincent’s heart stops; Vinnie’s crying/wailing is what alerts Komi to discovering where he was hidden.Tchaikovsky's Monster (or, the Unworthy Prometheus)
Using the ghost fragment discovered on the now possesed Vinnie, Komi begins the process of creating a brand new vessel for Vinnie to start a new life in. Anyone who has known me/Komi for more than two years will know that Komi's complex past has a strong hold over her actions as a character.
After the transfer is complete and Vinnie is 'reborn,' Komi begins to regret what she's done. In way, she wanted to "bring Vincent back" but understands that Vinnie is NOT Vincent... so she neglects him. This, along with feeling 'incomplete, Vinnie goes out to find Vincent's corpse. He finds the "other half" of his "soul" and fuses with it, then tries to make himself be who he thinks Komi wants him to be. This form is called "Victor" for now.Eriksen Legacy
Chandler and Hoffman reunite; invite Mary to their investigation team, but it all falls apart and Chandler goes insane for whatever reason.
Vivian begins tormenting Chandler; the latter starts to have nightmares again
Chandler is my "if FNAC 4 is about Rowboatics Corp/the 2nd cofounder is revealed to be involved in FNAC 4" test dummy. I don't want to do TOO much with him or Glenn in case my FNAC 4 theories are wrong. However, I'd still like to have a sort of William-Michael parallel between Glenn-Chandler (aka if Mary gets Michael's pain, then Chancy gets his obligations/responsibilities to put a stop to the things his father is behind).Mary's Legacy
Mary in this AU has Dissociative Identity Disorder, so certain things (such as the dream/deepscape, Vinnie hallucinations, and nightmares) will be rewritten with that context in mind. I'm writing based on my own personal experiences with the disorder. It's a way for me to express what I've gone through using a character I already relate so much with (taking from FNAC 3 specifically).
As for her daughter, Marylin, I'm not sure how to flesh her out yet. I like the thought of Mary coming to help her daughter burn down the factory, a FNAF 6 kind of ending for Mary's story. Despite everything she goes through, the loss of her mother and the tragic deaths at these establishments that she blames herself for, an incident where her little brother and then later her own daughter get seriously hurt by this very same "monster" in her life, and then FINALLY putting an end to it all, I just want her to same some goddamn PEACE man.edit 7/1/25 - what the fuck do you mean theres a diary entry in mypopgoes that talks about this

We are part of a DID system affectionally named after the musical group Nightcord at 25:00 - the Nightcord System (or just Niigo), but our real name is "Oliver."
This project was something we started in early 2024, after being re-introduced to Five Nights at Candy's 3 specifically.
This project is a side-project, actually. For the past few years, we have been working on a main project called VOID, which is about... well, the Multiverse. If you're interested... most of the content is on our YouTube page! AND, VOID is connected to THIS project! Neat!
